Crew Management was appointed by a first-time commercial property investor looking for assistance to manage their property. During the original inspection of the asset, Crew noted there were several compliance and liability issues that needed addressing to ensure protection for the Landlord.
High priority items raised with our new client included:
Crew Management were prompt to organise insurance for the Lessor on the day of transfer of management to ensure the Lessor was protected from public liability / building insurance purposes. We then ensured asbestos testing and reporting was performed to make the site compliant. Upon results of the test, asbestos was found in the property and all remediation and safety certificates have now been undertaken to ensure the property is compliant. Fire plans have now been produced and installed on the site.
